For vendors …
How much does it cost to sell a house with The Property Centre?
We believe in complete transparency with our fees. We operate on a no sale, no fee
basis, which means you only pay when your property completes. There are no
upfront costs, no hidden charges, and no lengthy contracts tying you in. You’ll
receive a clear breakdown of our fees during your free valuation, so you know
exactly what to expect from us, from day one.
How long does it take to sell a property in Taunton, Bridgwater, or Bristol?
The timeline varies depending on market conditions, property type, and pricing
strategy. On average, properties in Somerset and Bristol take between 12 – 16
weeks from listing to completion. However, with our innovative marketing
approach—including high quality photography, property videos, and campaigns
across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok—we ensure maximum
exposure to reach the right buyers quickly. Your dedicated agent will provide a
realistic timeline based on your specific property, current market conditions and your
circumstances.
What’s included in your property marketing?
We go above and beyond standard Estate Agent marketing. Every property receives:
- high quality photography, professionally edited property video and clear, easy to
read floor plans - Listing on major property websites (Rightmove, Zoopla,
OnTheMarket and Prime Location) - Targeted social media campaigns across
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok - Paid advertising to reach
qualified, motivated buyers - Email marketing to our database of registered, pre-
qualified buyers.
Do I need to sign a long contract?
No. Unlike many corporate agencies, we don’t believe in locking clients into lengthy
contracts. We retain your business through exceptional service, not contractual
obligations. We have a zero-week contract, which means, you’re free to leave if you
want to, though our track record speaks for itself—clients stay with us because of or
excellent communication and the results we deliver.
How do you value my property?
Your valuation will be conducted by one of our skilled valuers, who are experts in
their town and know the Taunton, Bridgwater, or Bristol market inside out. Our
founder Jonathan has over 13 years of Estate Agency experience, and our team
collectively brings many decades of local property knowledge. We analyse recent
comparable sales, current market conditions, property condition, and unique features
to provide an accurate, realistic valuation. We don’t give an inflated figure just to win
your business—it’s an honest assessment designed to achieve the best possible
price in a reasonable timeframe.
What is the single point of contact model?
From your initial free valuation through to completion day, you’ll work with the same
dedicated agent. This means no being passed between departments, no repeating
yourself to different people, and no confusion about who’s handling what. Your agent
knows your property, understands your circumstances, and is personally invested in
achieving the best outcome for you. This is one of the key ways we deliver superior
customer service compared to larger corporate agencies.
Do I need to do repairs before selling?
Not necessarily. During your valuation, your agent will provide honest advice about
which improvements might add value and which aren’t worth the investment. Some
sellers prefer to sell as-is, while others benefit from minor cosmetic updates. We’ll
guide you based on your specific property and target market, always with
transparency about the potential return on any investment you make.

We’re an independently owned estate and letting agency founded in 2019 by Jon, a Taunton native with over 13 years of experience at the UK’s largest corporate agencies.
